1. Purpose of the Role
To ensure a smooth running of the Account/Finance department
2. Functions of the Post
To act as Finance Manager for the TBC, BMC, Nepali Patra/BPC
To ensure that the accounts/finance department is effectively and efficiently operating.
3. Key Duties
The role of Finance Manager comprises the following duty and responsibilities:
∙ Prepare Monthly Budget
∙ Prepare yearly Budget
∙ Forecast income and expenses on a yearly/ monthly Basis
∙ Prepare cash flow statement
∙ Prepare cost centred accounts
∙ Bring innovative ideas to streamline the process in accounts department ∙ Responsible for verification of Payroll system of BMC/TBC/Nepali Patra/BPC ∙ Supervise overall activities of Accounts/Finance department
∙ Prepare Financial Policy, make sure job has been carried out as per the policy ∙ Supervise all the entries are entered in the system in a timely manner
∙ Make sure all the process and procedure are running smoothly in the department ∙ Check and finalize all the BRS prepared by Account Officer
∙ Liaison with Internal /External Auditors, Tax authorities, Banks, Ministry of education ∙ Make sure for timely payment of TDS/ Education tax etc
∙ Provide all the reports to CEO on a weekly basis
∙ Control Expenses and maximum income
Qualification
∙ CA graduate with at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
∙ Strong Excel skills.
∙ Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of business process and systems optimization.
∙ Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas.
∙ Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
∙ Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions.
∙ Strong financial system and business administration understanding.

Position: Quality and Compliance Officer

• Purpose of the Role
To ensure the practise management needs of the service are delivered to a high-quality standard, within the designated timeframes
Functions of the Post
To ensure that all departments are working in cohesion.
• Key Duties
The role of the Compliance and Quality Officer comprises the following duty and responsibilities:
- Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
- Develop and review company policies.
- Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
- Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risk.
- Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
- Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
- Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance.
- Monitor the workflow between all the departments and associated staff.
- Communicate the visible and invisible problematic area that needs attention to the concerned department.
- Promote a collaborative workflow between the departments.
- Audit and monitor various aspects of compliance with the policy of the organization and produce regular reports.
- Monitor the quality aspects of the work done by various departments and services provided by the various departments
- Review policies and procedures and associated compliance and compliance risk programs to ensure consistency with current applicable rules, regulations, and laws.
- Assist in management and staff in the formulation of forms and disclosure documents for compliance with all policies and procedures;
- Identify and communicate the need for compliance education programs and oversee the development and implementation of compliance training for all staff members;
- Support departments in the Quality Improvement plan formulation and implementation.
- Support Line Manager in University Quality Assurance Procedure is followed such as annual Monitoring report, Student surveys and so on.
- Collate quality assurance documents such as meeting minutes, SSLC, external Examiner report and so on.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, finance, business management or a related field.
- Autonomous, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to change or shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 3 years’ proven experience in a compliance officer role.
- Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices.
- Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
- Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.
